 I started my day in the San Miguel market


The classic breakfast enhanced by sangria on tap.


I had to try vermouth - apparently it's what the hip Spaniards enjoy.



And then explored the surroundings

A touch of Paris

A fast train took us from Strasbourg to Paris.  We had several hours so we took our luggage for a walk.    We had lunch in a tiny restaurant serving food from Mali.  That was followed by a subway ride to gentle airport and a short flight to Madrid.  We arrived at our Airbnb at about 1am to find out it. Had been vandalized and the reservation was canceled.  We found a hotel (but Josh lost his wallet somewhere in the process).  Not our best day.
