I didn’t know Strasbourg is in France

Three long train rides (crossing the entire country of Germany) and the Threegulls arrived in Strasbourg. We arrived a little grumpy and tired but a short taxi ride and we made it to our Airbnb in a section of the city (inexplicably) without restaurants.  But a short ride via the tram and we were able to starting exploring this city that seems to be equal parts French and German.  



These areas looked extremely German to me however we had an exceptionally French breakfast in one of these buildings.  






I don’t know what these buildings look like, but they were very beautiful.  We even watched a river boat through canal lock.  For folks from Arizona just seeing running water is pretty exciting.  One of the days highlights was the Notra Dame Cathedral.  Construction started in 1015 and ended in 1449 (so I guess construction businesses haven’t changed much).
